Girjegumpi - The Sámi Architectural Library is a mobile resource bank and a social platform that aims to shed light on indigenous architecture and colonial history in relation to architecture. It is built up around a collection of 250+ books dealing with diverse topics from old ethnographic registrations to more contemporary and political ideas and theory such as feminism, anarchism, decolonisation and land rights. The project has been touring the last 3 years and for each new destination there are various craft and design workshops held as part of the initiative. (Photo: Astrid Fadnes)
